On January 23, 2023, Biostandard received certification from ANVISA (Brazilian Food and Drug Surveillance Agency). 

ANVISA's main task is to monitor and manage illegality in areas such as production and distribution processes, work environment, and technology for products related to health and hygiene. It is also responsible for hygiene and quarantine related to product import and export at ports, airports, border areas, etc., and issues production and distribution license certificates for all items related to health and hygiene, such as medicines, medical devices, and food.

Based on accumulated technology and know-how, Biostandard researches, develops, and manufactures dermal fillers, cosmetics, and health functional foods using hyaluronic acid, and continues to conduct research on biotechnology technologies specialized in anti-aging.

As the Brazilian medical industry has the largest market size in Central and South America based on its huge domestic market, Biostandard is expected to enter the South American market starting with this certification.
